The awarding ceremony of the Russian Data Center Awards 2015 – award in the field of data center construction took place on September 16.

The Company «AMDTechnologies» is recognized as the best in the category «IT Complex solution + engineering infrastructure» for the design of cooling systems and the automation of computer complex «Lomonosov» — a supercomputer, installed at the Moscow State University and developed by the Company «T-Platforms». General-director of «AMD Technologies» Maxim Alexandrovich Sokhan was awarded a premium Cup and honorary diploma.

A solemn presentation of the award took place in one of the most famous concert halls in the capital «Izvestiya Hall», where guests from Russian and foreign companies whose business is related to the design, construction, equipment, operation and maintenance of data centers brought together.

According to iKS-Consulting, the industry of data centers construction is one of rapidly increasing (on average by 28-30% per year) active and extremely professional segments of the Russian IT market.

Experts employed in this industry often create unique projects, demonstrating the best achievements of engineering thought, for the solution of non-standard, at times, tasks of data centers customers. To select the data center's owners who are ready to apply innovative approaches and popularize the projects in which these approaches have been implemented is the first goal of the Russian Data Center Awards premium, founded by the professional community.

Furthermore, according to the organizers conception, the company «IKS-Media», the premium in the field of data center construction should cooperate the formation of the standards of data centers in Russia and the CIS, improve the investment attractiveness of the Russian data center market, the international recognition of the professionalism of Russian designers, engineers and specialists in the creation of data centers.
